The Weekend, a Daily Inspiration
Everyday I wake up and perform tasks I would rather not do for the majority of the week. When you don’t enjoy what you do for an income, it is important to find something you do enjoy for a living. The greatest time I feel the most alive is when I am at a club or bar talking or dancing with friends and potential playmates. The entire week is just a means to an end. I work every week day. I work out Monday through Friday. I do my laundry and clean my home throughout the week so that I may enjoy the weekend. The weekend is the light at the end of the tunnel for me. I survive Monday through Friday by simply waiting for it to end. The weekend is what inspires me daily to live for another day.

Ever Lived Without a Closet?
There is definitely something that comes to mind when I think about changing something about my apartment and that would be… closet space! When I had moved into my apartment I saw that there was a small stand up closet that came with the apartment and I didn’t realize why. I am a girl who loves fashion and clothing so when I finally moved in I then realized the issue and could only hang a portion of my clothes up. When I first looked at the apartment I was so in love with the space that I didn’t even realize what a big problem it was. My boyfriend and I would end up having fights about who was taking up too much of the space in the closet but we eventually got over it. Having a closet or two would definitely be what I would change about my apartment.
Fun Activities for a Boring Day
When I am bored there are usually a few things I like to do. Video fames are usually the main activity I enjoy. I play a lot of computer games as well as XBOX, which I just started using last year. Another activity is watching TV. I don’t really like to spend a lot of time watching TV but I do enjoy shows such as NCIS, The Office and Seinfeld. Crafts are also another activity I do when I am bored. Painting, drawing and sewing are very time consuming, enjoyable, and have always been one of my favorite activities. Whenever I sew, I mainly make bags and dresses and although sometimes it takes a lot of motivation to do, it is always pleasing in the end. It also feels like I am making good use of my time.

Uruguay is a country built under the reign of the Portuguese. This is a country with just a population of 3.5 million people. This isn’t pretty big enough. It is a perfect place for those who would want to escape for a reprieve. Living in Uruguay isn’t also that expensive. You can buy a property with the meager amount that you have. Uruguay’s government is encouraging tourism by way of making real estate properties affordable for everyone. This would eventually entice a lot of people to settle in the place because of its inexpensiveness. When you go up its north, you will already be nearing Brazil.
I Really Want a Laptop
If I had $500 to spend at the mall, I would have several options. I could buy groceries and some of the latest health drinks and foods or I could buy fruits and nuts. I could even buy my self some clothes like jeans or t-shirts or more formal clothes. I could even buy some decent under garments. I could buy perfume. I could buy some gadgets like an electric shaver. Well, there are all these and many more options that I might want to consider after talking a stroll down the mall. So, I would take a note pad with me and write down all the best options to consider for my $500. Even after making such considerations, the apple of my eye is still a laptop. I desperately want one that has a DVD player and a speed of at least 1 GHz.

Of course, I could list the comics I have read. I am a cartoonist, and my life has been changed immeasurably by Robert Crumb, by Jhonen Vasquez. Books about cartooning, too, like The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay. I think, for each part of my life, a book has made a difference. When I was younger, I wanted to write like Daniel Handler/Lemony Snicket, and draw like Quentin Blake, the man who did the illustrations for Dahl’s books.
The Moorchild defined me, a strange girl who could justify her strangeness with the fact that she wasn’t human, that she was just hanging out in the human realm because she was banished there. When I got older and considerably less angsty, I took up with Bill Bryson, a love that endures to this day. He is probably the most influential writer for me (next to Zoe Trope, but that was because I was in middle school and I was gullible), and continues to teach me that the world is worth writing about and is full of unconquerable beauty.
Television Habits
Sorry to be a downer, but I don’t watch television that much (I do not own one). As such, my tastes usually aren’t determined by what sort of show it is, and more ‘is it awesome?’ or ‘can it be watched online?’ I like documentaries about psychology, and sometimes reality shows (I am a fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race). Police dramas are sometimes okay, but they are kind of generic. I know I said I don’t like genres, just stuff, but I tend more towards sci-fi or fantasy or fiction and the like—Doctor Who, or anything promising fun times with Victorians. Animated stuff is good too.
